  1. William J. Budd Says:

After using a TI-84 for a while, I upgraded to a TI voyage 200 because of the calculus capabilities. When I got my new Voyage 200 (v200), I was not happy with THE DOCUMENTATION SUPPLIED BY TI, that came with the calculator. So I bought Carl Swensons book “Graphing Calculator Guide for the TI-89, Calculus single and multivariable,” to get up to speed on using my v200, because I was told that the TI-89, TI-92, and Voyage 200 all operate the same way. After a couple of sessions using Mr. Swenson’s book, I became very excited about my new calculator and his book! Indeed, aside from some differences in the keyboard layout on the three calculators (TI-89/92/v200), they all three work the same way, and I easily used Swensons book for the TI-89 to learn how to use the voyage 200! Obviously that book was written with all three calculators in mind! So if you bought one of these calculators, you have a great calculator, probably the best there is, and in my opinion, you should get a great book to go with it, namely Swenson’s “Graphing Calculator guide for the TI-89,” which is equally applicable to the TI-92 and TI Voyage 200.
