I loved the music. It is soothing. My background is European/American/Canadian, and I really liked the video and its background music. Way to go. I like both the TI89 and the HP50g.

How can I set something like x=5?

  8. PianoScience Says:

You should keep it if your cousin gave it to you. This calculator worked great when I took algebra because of the systems solver, and the symbolic manipulation came in very handy.

im taking alg 2 this year…i already have this calc from my cousin, should i keep it or get one thats easier to use and learn with??

  10. PianoScience Says:

The TI-89 series is recommended. Isn’t it required to have a TI-89 for AP Calculus? But if you want lots of power the HP 50g, or Casio Classpad is the way to go. Any way good luck!

i just started taking AP calculus, what ti do you recommend buying? thank you

  12. PianoScience Says:

I know, just turn off the volume and listen to something you like while you watch. Do you have a suggestion that I can change the music to?

Thank you sooooo much for taking the time to respond

  16. PianoScience Says:

No because the programing language on the TI-89 and the TI-84 are different. I do envision having the TI-89 in the future because it is required for a student taking Calculus or Advanced Statistics. Compared to other graphing calculators like the Casio Classpad 300, the TI-89 is like a kids calculator because it has a more powerful CAS (Computer Algebra System), and has a faster processor.

  17. Gaga096 Says:

One more question … Are all the apps for the ti 84 available on the ti 89? And do you envision the ti 89 being around for a while?

  18. Gaga096 Says:

    Thank you :-)

  19. PianoScience Says:

The TI-89 Titanium I recommend because the TI-Nspire can’t really do much and doesn’t have many programs, that’s why it has the TI-84 keypad. Besides it’s TI’s most powerful graphing calculator.

Hi, i need to know.. i am looking to buy a grpahing calculator, i am split between the ti 89 and the tinspire.. any suggestions? I am going to be doing advanced high school math, i need to know which is better. THNX

  21. PianoScience Says:

Oh yes I know that app. sure I’ll try to make one.

  22. 69erthx1138 Says:

    The TI-89 sketch pad application.

  23. PianoScience Says:

Are you talking about the Casio Classpad 300-330 or Google Sketch-up?

  24. 69erthx1138 Says:

Do you know of any tutorials on sketch pad?

  25. MeHyperMan Says:
